The guest room building is one of the main buildings of Shandong Hotel; the well-known Portman communal space is introduced in the internal design, which is gorgeous and magnificent, with excellent natural lighting.
The guest room building mainly comprises three functional areas of guest rooms, catering and entertainment & health-caring areas. 20 great columns which is 23 meters high are adopted to support the natural lightning front hall; the lobby of the middle hall is about 98 meters high, the area is 1980 ㎡, the building is provided with 6 transparent glass sightseeing elevators. The mansion has 571 rooms (part of them have been altered into scriptoriums); wherein, there are 49 different styles of suites, such as president suite, VIP 4 sets, luxurious 3 sets, administration sets, luxurious sets and business sets. The area of standard room reaches 36 ㎡. The guest rooms are equipped with the facilities, such as independently controlled central air-conditioning, sound box equipment, TV, safety deposit box as well as mini-bar, all the guest rooms realizes free net-surfing; the Administrative floor and luxurious floor are equipped with LCD TV and multi-media computer; in addition, the office supplies, such as stapler, scissor, magnifying glass and pencils are specially prepared for the guests.

The service items and preferential measures of the Administrative floor:
- 1. Drinks will be provided during the check-in to the administrative lounge.
- 2. All the guests that checks in the Administrative floor can enjoy the buffet breakfast, afternoon tea, happy time and casual meal in the administrative lounge for free according to the check-in number of persons.
- 3. During the stay time, two shirts can be laudered for free for each guestroom per day. (excluding dry cleaning).
- 4. The check-out time can be extended to 15;00 (based on the guest room renting conditions).
- 5. The guests can use broadband net-surfing for 30 minutes for free each day at the business center in the administrative lounge.
- 6. The negotiation tea house in the administrative lounge can be used for free (the expense of tea and coffee will be calculated separately).
- 7. Provide newspapers and magazines for free.
- 8. Receiving fax for free.
- 9. Provide shoe-shining for free.

a. Limited by the number of restaurant seats, the administrative lounge does not accept guests from guests which are not from Administrative floor.
b. When the lodgers of Administrative floor brings guests to the administrative lounge, the consumption for the guests will charged according to the price list. (Breakfast 98 Yuan/person; afternoon tea, soft drink 60 Yuan/person, 15% of service charge will be added)
Both the 12th floor and the 18th floor of the guest-room building have a conference room, with oval conference table, capable of containing 20 people.
The quest room is equipped with LCD TV and computer and the guests can surf the net for free.

Instruction for room facilities:
- 1. The usage method of guest room card: Put the card into the lock with the side with “Shandong Hotel” logo upward and the backward black line into the lock and then brush with even force, the door will be opened.
- 2. Usage instruction for guest room air-conditioner: Press the upper and lower keys according to the air-conditioning indicator to select cozy temperature.
- 3. Usage method of the guest room safety box: when using, put the articles into the box, close the door slightly, then set the password and press the “confirm” button.
The housing center can provide part of the articles for renting:
Sound box renting: 100 Yuan/time (without restriction to the usage time)
Camera head: 50 Yuan/time (no restriction on the usage time)

- 1. For the internal telephones of the hotel, the department or room numbers can be directly dialed (4 digits).
- 2. For the local calls, firstly dial “0”, then dial the telephone number of the local call.
- 3. For the domestic long-distance calls, firstly, dial “0”, then dial the city code and then dial the telephone number.
